Fundraisers are aiming to raise record amounts of money at a charity plant sale in Markyate.
Thousands of perennials, summer bedding and vegetable plants will be on sale at the Markyate Plant Sale in a bid to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 24.
Ian Bradley, event organiser, said: "This is Markyate’s Garden Party of the year, freely open to all who love their gardens and The Hospice of St Francis."
He added: "The ‘Plant Sale’, as Markyate knows it, has been supporting the hospice for almost twenty years, making ever greater donations to its remarkable work.
"Last year we raised nearly £6,300. This year we hope, with the help of the public, to give the Hospice an even larger gift to support the invaluable care it provides."
