The Labour Party has selected a parliamentary candidate to stand in the 2015 general election against current Harpenden MP Peter Lilley.

Members of the Harpenden and Hitchin constituency selected Rachel Burgin, following a selection meeting on Saturday, March 29. 

Mrs Burgin is a lawyer working London and lives with her husband Paul live in Letchworth. She is a member of the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party Finance and Industry Group.

I wouldn't vote labour if they were the only party left. Shame though, as all the others are just as despicable and untrustworthy, but just not as keen to spend like Labour always do.
