  • Stefan Michael Jakeman, 23, of Bardwell Court, St Albans. On October 16, 2013, at Apsley rail station, assaulted a person. Also, on September 21, 2013, at Hoddesdon, stole a bottle of perfume worth £80 from Boots. Community order made with activity, drug rehabilitation and supervision requirements. Compensation, costs: £225.
  • Natasha Le-Roux, 37, of Oysterfields, St Albans. Between February 4, 2013, and July 28, 2013, dishonestly failed to promptly notify St Albans District Council in the prescribed manner of a change of circumstances which knew would affect entitlement to housing and Council Tax benefits namely that was working. Also, between January 31, 2013, and July 29, 2013, dishonestly failed to promptly notify DWP in the prescribed manner of a change of circumstances which knew would affect entitlement to income support namely that was working. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £65.
  • Arab Miah, 41, of Doggetts Way, St Albans. On November 18, 2013, assaulted a person by beating him. Restraining order made. Fine, compensation, costs: £3,100.
  • Reba Setterfield, 79, of Waverley Road, St Albans. On January 2, 2014, assaulted a person by beating him. Also, on same date, assaulted two police officers in execution of their duty and committed assault while prohibited from doing so by restraining order. Application to vary restraining order granted. Conviction of offence while community order in force for assault by beating (x5). Community order revoked. New order imposed with prohibited activity requirement. Compensation, costs: £245.
  • Robert Taylor, 32, of Flanders Court, St Albans Road, Watford. On November 28, 2013, assaulted a person by beating her. Also, on same date, resisted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Community order made with alcohol treatment, programme and supervision requirements. Costs: £145.
  • Ashley McCluskey, 19, of Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans. On March 8, 2014, took a vehicle for use of self or another and, before it was recovered, an accident occurred by which damage to a wall was caused. Also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance, drove without a valid licence and after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 82 microgrammes in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. Community order made with attendance centre and electronic monitoring requirement. Compensation, costs: £395. Banned from driving for 20 months, to be reduced by 20 weeks if approved course undertaken.
  • Hadyn Michael Runnacles, 21, of Alexander Road, London Colney. On March 8, 2014, in Collingwood Drive, London Colney, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Fine, costs: £170.
  • Duncan Stuart Fraser, 26, of Pilgrim Close, Park Street. On March 8, 2014, drove in Watling Street, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 86 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £285. Banned from driving for 21 months, to be reduced by 21 weeks if approved course undertaken.
