Young choristers from Harpenden had their appearance at the Albert Hall funded by a council cash grant.
Hertfordshire County Council allocated £326 to pay for Year 6 pupils at St Dominic Catholic Primary School to sing at the Hertfordshire Schools’ Music Gala at the Royal Albert Hall last month.
The money came from the council’s locality budget scheme.
