Thousands of pounds for hounds will be raised at a doggie meet and greet event in St Albans this week.

After a series of successful events in previous years, the Dog Trust’s Dogmobile will be returning to Market Place to give supporters and doting dog lovers another chance to meet some four legged friends and to find out more about the charity’s work.

The Dogmobile will be carrying loving pooches from Dogs Trust Harefield Rehoming Centre, all looking for brand new homes at the events on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11.

Laura Nicholas, Dogmobile assistant manager said: "The Dogmobile is a fun, interactive way to help people find out more about rehoming a rescue dog and the brilliant work of Dogs Trust. Whilst dogs are not directly rehomed from the Dogmobile, if you do find that it’s puppy love after meeting our adorable doggies, we encourage you to visit our centres to find out more about making a new best friend."

Residents interested in rehoming a dog should contact Dogs Trust Harefield on 0845 076 3647 or visit at Highway Farm, Harvil Road, Harefield, Uxbridge.
