Pupils from a St Albans school were delighted to meet new children’s book author Nikki Sheehan.
On Thursday, March 27 Nikki joined year seven St Albans Girls' School pupils to tell them about her new book ‘Who framed Klaris Cliff?’, which tells the story of Joseph, a boy who discovers that his next door neighbour's imaginary friend 'Klaris' has decided to come and pay him a visit.
Nikki explained to the girls that in some parts of the world people believe that imaginary friends are ancestors who have come back as children.
She asked how many of the girls had an imaginary friend when they were younger and was pleased to see that plenty of hands were raised.
Isabelle Kingshorn, pupil, said: " I was very excited to talk to her, I think that one day she will be famous and I wanted to meet her before she was."
