Police are appealing for witnesses following a three-car crash in Markyate.

A blue Vauxhall Astra Coupe, a black Pontiac Firebird and a silver Volkswagen Golf Estate crashed on Roman Way between midday and 1pm on Monday, March 31.

The Vauxhall and Pontiac were travelling from Dunstable to Markyate on the A5 prior to the crash. No one was injured.

PC Brian Evans said: "I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and the events leading up to the collision.

"The Vauxhall and Pontiac are particularly distinctive vehicles and this happened during a busy period of the day and so I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the vehicles travelling on the A5 prior to the incident."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Evans via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, or by sending him an email to brian.evans2@herts.pnn.police.uk, citing ISR 245 of March 31.
