The assault took place on the number 636 Uno bus parked in the High Street between 4pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, April 9.

"There were other passengers on board the bus at the time of the incident and I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it.

"Equally, if anyone believes they saw the victim or offender before or after the incident, or if anyone knows the offender’s identity, please contact me straight away."

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact PC Capicotto via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, citing crime reference F2/14/487. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
