Police called to reports of attempted burglary in St Albans

Police were called to a house in St Albans yesterday afternoon after reports of an attempted burglary.

A member of public reported six police cars and dogs attended a house in Corinium Gate at 3.35pm after someone had alerted police to ‘suspicious circumstances’.

Police said the call was a false alarm and left the scene at around 4pm.
