TV presenter and journalist Esther Rantzen spoke about her newly launched charity during a lunch fundraiser in St Albans yesterday.
Ms Rantzen launched her charity, The Silverline, which aims to help elderly people by giving them someone to speak to 24 hours a day, at St Michael’s Manor Hotel.
She is the founding patron of Demand, the design and manufacturer of bespoke equipment to help transform the lives of children and adults living with disability. The event raised £1,046 for Demand.
