Photographs were hung on trees amongst bluebells at a unique pop-up exhibition in Heartwood Forest on Saturday.

Visitors gathered at Unearthed, a one day exhibition of images taken by First Year Photography students from Hertfordshire University, inspired by the natural world.

The event was supported by the Woodland Trust.

Jamie Field, exhibition organiser said: "The undergraduate photography students have been working hard in the buildup to this unique outdoor show.

"Students enjoyed talking to visitors and explaining the ideas behind their images. Two students even sold their photographs to a visitor to the woodland.

"Overall, it was an amazing day, thankfully dry with sunny spells and a positive experience for the students. For many this was their first exhibition. We are thankful to the Woodland Trust for allowing to hold this pop up show and look forward to holding a similar event next year."
