St Albans’ very own morris men will dance at dawn in the city tomorrow.
This annual celebration will see them perform a mix of traditional dances outside the Town Hall in St Peter’s Street from 6am.
May 1 marks the beginning of their summer season and morris men have been dancing on this day for hundreds of years by way of welcoming in the fine weather and bringing good luck for the year’s harvest.
They will be joined by the St Albans Mayor, Annie Brewster.
