One hundred golfers took part in a charity golf day in St Albans to raise £4,500 for Rennie Grove Hospice Care.

The Rotary Charity Golf Day took palce on Thursday, May 15, as organised by the Rotary Club of St Albans Verulamium and hosted by Verulam Golf Club.

Nicola MacKinnon, Grove House’ fund raising manager, said: "I am delighted to say that this will provide a month’s worth of nursing shifts caring for Grove House patients.

"Since 2005 this annual golf day has supported Grove House on four occasions and raised nearly £16,000 to care for patients and families in Hertfordshire".
