St Albans' internationally renowned skater, Rodney Clarke, will officially launch a new series of masterclasses at the city’s Pioneer Club next month.
Although Rodney has officially hung up his skateboard, he will launch the series at the Pioneer on Sunday, June 8 from 3pm to 5pm.
Rodney skated professionally and extensively travelled the world in the 1990s with a successful career and has always remained involved in The Pioneer Club where he, along with other local children, helped build the very first ramps back in 1987.
He is also a trust of the Pioneer charity, which begun in 1941.
Other skate boarders, who will take part in the series, include Ross McGouran, Trevor Johnson, Kris Vile and Lucy Adams and Benny Fairfax.
