The Mayor of St Albans will strut her stuff in a charity fashion show next month.

The fashion show will take place in The Orangery at St Michael’s Manor Hotel in St Albans on Monday, June 23 from 7pm in aid of Demand, a charity dedicated to creating bespoke equipment for people with disabilities.

Francesca Bonn, from West Herts College and Deborah O’Neill from Buckingham and  company accountants have been working with Denise Gillies, regional fundraising manager for Demand to organise the event.

Last year’s event, which was launched by Paula Fagan from Malbec Digital Marketing, raised more than £1,800 for Demand and The Peace Hospice.

This year Demand’s models will include the city’s Mayor Annie Brewster, Lisa Bates from St Albans Chamber of commerce, Debbie Diggle, Regional Director of women’s business networking group Athena West Hertfordshire and Sarah- Helen from Re-Style Magic. This glamorous event will feature a catwalk style fashion show showcasing a wide range of ladies clothing from major high street stores.
