People in St Albans swapped their sofas for an outdoor work out in Verulamium Park.
British Military Fitness (BMF) hosted the ‘National Outdoor Fitness Day’ offering people a free one hour class in a bid to encourage them to improve their lifestyle and fitness levels.
Rob Love, BMF Managing Director said he was delighted with the turnout.
He said: "National Outdoor Fitness Day was launched to inspire people to improve their lifestyles, but I have to say the inspiration has worked both ways. Seeing so many people engage in outdoor fitness inspires our instructors and the work we do. Hopefully everyone who took part in a class can see the benefits outdoor fitness brings as they continue to work towards their goals.
"We would like to thank those in St Albans who took part in the event and hopefully we will see many more faces moving forward."
