Kimberley Errol Stapleton, 46, of Bricket Road, St Albans. On April 26, 2014, drove in Hatfield Road, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 44 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes; also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance or a valid licence. Community order made with programme, supervision and unpaid work requirements. Fine, costs: £345. Banned from driving for 48 months.
Mark Jason Deane, 48, of Lavender Crescent, St Albans. On April 28, 2014, being a relevant offender within the terms of the Sexual Offences Act, failed to comply with notification requirements by not notifying the police weekly where registered. Fine, costs: £215.
Michael Gratte, 68, of Radlett Road, Colney Street. On April 28, 2014, drove on M1 while disqualified; also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Order includes unpaid work requirement. Banned for 12 months. Costs: £165.
Liam Daniel Garrett, 24, of Hill End Lane, St Albans. On February 22, 2014, at London Colney, assaulted a person by beating him. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Compensation, costs: £260.
