Vladimir Janecek, 52, of Caravan Park, Redbourn. On May 25, 2014, stole a pair of trousers from Sports Direct, Watford. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £100.

Tyler Albert Kirk, 19, of Hind House, Cairns Close, St Albans. On April 27, 2014, assaulted a police officer in the execution of her duty; also, on May 13, 2014, failed to surrender to custody. To be detained in courthouse. Detention deemed served by reason of time already spent in custody. Also, on April 23, 2014, failed to report for appointment with probation and failed to provide satisfactory proof of absence. Committed to detention in a young offender institution for 25 days.

Olie Gibbs, 21, of Longfield Road, Harpenden. On February 4, 2014, at St Albans station, travelled on a railway without having previously paid £3.90 fare and with intent to avoid payment thereof. Fine, compensation, costs: £343.90.
