St Albans' very own Philomena Lee attended a fundraising evening in St Albans last night.
Vivian Lawman, St Albans Bereavement Network (SABN) manager, was delighted to welcome the very special guest to the charity evening held in conjunction with Elizabeth Arden at Boots in St Peters Street.
The evening raised £450 for the network and the final amount raised is expected to total to about£900 through Boots’ Make the Difference Fund, a scheme that matches the fund raising efforts of their staff.
World renowned make-up artist and skin care specialist Joseph Hernandez, who jetted in from Monaco to host the evening, was on hand to offer tips and advice for summer beauty.
Vivian said: "We would like to thank Elizabeth Arden’s Wendy Seabrook and her team for all their hard work in setting up the evening and helping to make it such an enjoyable and successful event.
"Wendy has supported SABN for a number of years and each year the evenings keep getting more and more successful. We are very grateful for her continuing support."
