More than 300 affordable homes have been built in St Albans since April 2010.
The new figures have been revealed after Housing Minister Kris Hopkins welcomed the news nearly 200,000 new affordable homes have been delivered across the country.
Since April 2010, 330 affordable homes have been built in the city. In neighbouring towns and boroughs, Watford has welcomed 790 new homes, Hertsmere 300 affordable homes and Dacorum 290.
