Tennis coach and mother to tennis ace Andy Murray, Judy Murray, will officially open Batchwood Sports Centre next month.
Judy willl attend the newly refurbished centre, scheduled two days after Wimbledon, on Tuesday, July 8 from 4pm to 8pm, where she will hold a question and answer session from 6pm followed by a charity auction to raise money for the Rally for Bally campaign.
‘Rally For Bally’ is a charity tournament in memory of tennis star Elena Baltacha, who was due to open the leisure centre. She lost her battle to liver cancer on May 4.
