Paint on four cars damaged with substance believed to be brake fluid in St Albans

Police are appealing for information after four parked cars were damaged in St Albans.

The cars on Ashwell Street have been squirted with a substance, believed to be brake fluid, between 1pm on Saturday June 21 and 2pm on Sunday June 22.

A blue Vauxhall Meriva, white Skoda Fabia, silver Volkswagen Zafira and silver Nissan Micra all received damage to the paintwork.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw or knows anything about the damage to come forward.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference F1/13/2032. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
