A zero-rated St Albans fish and chips has cleaned up its act to earn a hygiene rating of two in its last inspection.
Harpers Fish Bar & Restaurant, Lloyd Court, Russet Drive has improved following an inspection from the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme on June 17.
In April the St Albans & Harpenden Review reported that the restaurant was in "urgent need of improvement" after it received a zero rating following an inspection in March 2013.
Thanks to a Scores on the Doors hygiene rating, a food outlet’s attention to cleanliness is now rated from five stars, for excellent, to zero, for not very good at all.
