Firefighters were called to two incidents in St Albans yesterday.

The first was a small fire in the open in Sleapcross Gardens at 1.36pm.

A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

The crew from St Albans were later called to a bin fire outside Morrisons in Hatfield road at 6.01pm.

The fire, which is being treated as deliberate, was extinguished with a bucket of water.
