St Albans Cathedral to commemorate the centenary of the First World War
St Albans Cathedral is commemorating the centenary of the First World War this month.
The commemorative exhibition reflects on St Albans Abbey parish in 1914 and explores the lives of those at the heart of the parish at the outbreak of war.
Visitors are invited to share experiences of the First World War within their own families.
The exhibition will run until August 18 and then from October 27 until November 9, closing on Remembrance Sunday.
