More than 150 children enjoyed trying new crafts as St Stephen parish council held activities as part of the national Love Parks Week.
Activities were held over three days outside the Greenwood Park Community Centre.
Children of all ages were provided with the opportunity to try different crafts, including glass painting, clay modelling, sand pictures, sun catchers and ceramic leaf painting alongside traditional painting and colouring activities.
Lisa Beckford, whose children Aisha, five, and Cameron, nine, tried out lots of different crafts, said:
"It’s an amazing opportunity for children to experience different arts and crafts outside in the fresh air, and it was great that the children could try crafts that they wouldn’t necessarily be able to do at home."
Pictures painted during the three day event will be displayed in the park over the summer.
All the crafts and materials were provided by the parish council and the days were run by councillors Wendy Berriman, Karen Hurford, Dorothy Kerry and Bill Pryce.
