The Woodland Trust will hosting its annual summer festival at Heartwood Forest over the bank holiday. 

From woodland crafts to a fun dog show, a woodland bake-off to professional storytelling it is one of the biggest events that the Woodland Trust provides for its supporters.

Louise Neicho, site manager for the Woodland Trust, said: "We’re thrilled to be hosting our annual summer festival at Heartwood once again. 

"Last year the weather was not great be we still saw an incredible 700 people attend, and this time the festival is going to be bigger and better."

The event will take place in the forest in Sandridge on August 23 from 11am until 4pm.
