Driver taken to hospital following crash in Harpenden
Emergency services were called to a car crash in Harpenden this morning.
Police, fire and ambulance were called at 8.03am to the accident in Annables Lane.
A silver Ford Fiesta and a black Ford Mondeo were involved in the crash and the road was blocked while they were recovered.
One man in his 20s was cut out of his car by the fire crew from Harpenden and taken to Luton and Dunstable University Hospital suffering from chest pain.
A second person was taken to hospital suffering from back pain.
The road is no longer blocked.
