Desmond Asafo-Adjei, 36, of Upper Lattimore Road, St Albans. On June 13, 2014, stole a pair of cream polo shoes worth £49.99 from TKMaxx, Hatfield. Fine, costs: £120.
Erol Taskiran, 51, Parkfield, Markyate. On June 12, 2014, stole bottle of wine worth £7 from M&S, St Albans. Discharged conditionally for six months. Compensation, costs: £107.
Mark Stuart Alyson, 42, of Newgate Close, St Albans. On April 8, 2014, damaged a police van belonging to Hertfordshire Constabulary. Also, on same date, assaulted three police officers in the execution of their duty. Also, on same date, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, and the offence was racially aggravated. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made on May 29, 2013, for criminal damage. Committed to prison for eight weeks.
