Donald Patrick Cameron, 70, of Smallford Lane, Smallford. On March 30, 2014, drove in Ashley Road, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in blood was 243 milligrammes in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes. Community order made with programme and supervision requirements. Costs: £145. Banned from driving for 26 months, to be reduced by 26 weeks if approved course undertaken.
Andrew Portafield, 45, of Wright Close, St Albans. On March 6, 2014, en route near St Albans station, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £351.30.
