Those from the St Albans and Harpenden area dealt with by magistrates on Tuesday, July 8.

Marc Shane Hardey, 31, of Lectern Lane, St Albans. On April 15, 2014, assaulted a person by beating him. Also, on January 17, 2014, stole three cases of lager from Spar, St Albans. Fine, compensation, costs: £890.50. 

Richard O’Sullivan, 51, of Grosvenor Road, St Albans. On July 7, 2014, without reasonable excuse lay on the pavement and abused a member of the emergency services contrary to anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Commission of further offence during the operational period pf a suspended sentence order made for breach of asbo (x2), assault by beating (x2), criminal damage, public order offences. Committed to prison for 27 weeks.

Simon Francis Emerick, 32, of Richardson Close, London Colney. On June 21, 2014, was in possession of a small bag of cannabis, a class B drug. Discharged conditionally  for six months. Costs: £100.

Pawel Moczulewski, 32, of Wyedale, London Colney. On June 21, 2014, drove in Bell Lane, London Colney, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 85 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £465. Banned from driving for 20 months, to be reduced by 20 weeks if approved course undertaken. 

Philip Cole Biggs, 19, of Almshouses, St Peters Road, St Albans. On June 22, 2014, was in possession of four small bags of cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £145.

Paul Richard Housden, 45, of Five Acres, London Colney. On March 9, 2014, destroyed a front door panel belonging to another. Fine, compensation, costs: £300.

Tyler Kirk, 19, c/o HSCO Solicitors, Victoria Street, St Albans. Complaint for an anti-social behaviour order. Defendant has acted on numerous occasions both inside and in the vicinity of St Albans in an anti-social and violent manner likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to others. Order made, with conditions, for five years.

Ann Fitzgerald, 42, of Wright Close, Wheathampstead. Between January 2, 2014, and January 30, 2014, failed to give information relating to the identity of a driver believed to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £745. Six penalty points.

Nehal Mangrio, 30, of Sutton Road, St Albans. On December 24, 2013, drove in Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, at 45mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £100. Three penalty points.

Nigel Howard B Brown, 51, of Townsend Lane, Harpenden. On December 30, 2013, drove in Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, at 36mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £100. Three penalty points.

Nicholas Mulley, 36, of Langley Grove, Sandridge. On December 29, 2013, failed to comply with the indication given by a traffic sign, namely a directional arrow sign. Fine, costs: £160.
