Those from the St Albans and Harpenden area dealt with by magistrates on Monday, July 21.

Jade Paris Lauren Hills, 22, of Chalkdell Fields, St Albans. On April 3, 2014, en route near Radlett station, travelled on a railway without bhaving previously paid fare. Fine, compensation, costs: £566.70.

The following were convicted of watching a colour television without a licence (fine plus costs in brackets; those marked * were dealt with in their absence): *Janet Johnson, 50, of Chalkdell Fields, St Albans (£560); Sarah Kerr, 45, of House Lane, St Albans (£395).
