Marloes MLW Hopkins de Groot, 56, of High Street, Markyate. On July 8, 2014, drove in the High Street, Markyate, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 76 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. On July 8, 2014, used a vehicle with no test certificate. Fine, costs: £575. Banned from driving for 20 months, to be reduced by 20 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Dominic Mooney, 26, of Drakes Drive, St Albans. On May 14, 2014, was in possession of one wrap of cocaine, a class A drug. Also, on same date, was in possession of one wrap of cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £440.

Michael Joseph Underwood, 21, of Burnside, St Albans. On May 14, 2014, was in possession of one wrap of cannabis, a class B drug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £100. 

Chantelle Louise Whitley, 23, of Mandeville Drive, St Albans. On July 8, 2014, with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated. Fine, costs: £215.

Kenneth Stevens, 25, of Manor Road, London Colney. On and between June 16, 2014, and July 2, 2014, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to harassment of a person. Restraining order made. Fine, costs: £525.

Andrew Saul, 31, of West Way, Harpenden. On April 14, 2014, en route near Harpenden, entered a train for the purpose of travelling without having a valid ticket entitling travel. Fine, compensation, costs: £253.60.

Roman Scott, 28, of Catherine Street, St Albans. On April 11, 2014, en route near Hendon station, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £344.90.
