A housing association will build 20 new homes in London Colney and Wheathampstead after planning applications were approved.
An application from North Hertfordshire Homes to demolish garages and build six, two bedroom and one, one bedroom affordable apartments in Cotlandswick were approved by St Albans District Council last week.
In addition, there will be 27 new parking spaces, bin stores and the re-provision of storage sheds.
In Telford Road an application to demolish garages and build five, two bedroom affordable houses and two, one bedroom apartments was also granted.
The applicant was also granted permission to demolish garages in Offas Way, Wheathampstead, to build four, two bedroom houses and two, two bedroom coach houses.
The developments were granted on the basis that work begins within three years.
