Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon at a caravan site yesterday.
Hertfordshire Constabulary was called the to Barley Mow caravan site at around 8.30pm after reports of a disturbance. The police helicopter was deployed to support officers.
A car left the site and travelled to another site off the A414 longabout near Colney Heath.
Police attended both sites and at the second site officers found a number of discarded knives which were seized. No weapons were found at the Barley Mow site.
Two men, a 23 and a 28 year old, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and remain in police custody.
