Firefighters called to 300 flaming hay bales in St Albans
Firefighters were called to a trailer fire in St Albans yesterday.
Two crews from St Albans were called to the Smallford campus of Oaklands at 2.24pm. There were 300 bales of bay on fire on the trailer.
One jet and breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire. The site was re-inspected in the evening and there will be no further investigations.
