Muntakim Islam, 24, of Watson Avenue, St Albans. On sundry dates between April and June 2014, committed fraud by claiming had been given coupons by customers, intending to make a gain for self.
Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Costs: £145.
Pascale Mabel Musk, 35, of Station Road, Smallford. Between June 8, 2013, and August 15, 2013, in a field near Westfield and Woodside Lane, Hatfield, caused unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, namely a dun-coloured pony colt named Star. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Costs: £560. Order made to disqualify defendant in respect of equines from dealing in them, owning them, keeping them, participating in keeping them and from being party to arrangement under which defendant is entitled to control or influence the way in which they are kept or transported for three years.
Gabriella L O’Malley, of Doggetts Way, St Albans. On March 14, 2014, en route near St Albans, entered a train for travelling without having a valid ticket. Fine, compensation, costs: £351.30.
Parizon Ltd trading as Pizza Go Go, of London Road, St Albans. On November 28, 2013, failed to comply with hygiene improvement notice in 12 separate ways. Also, on same date, failed to comply with other regulations in four further ways. Fine, costs: £9,935.
