Kurtis Jarret, 23, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn. On April 23, 2014, was in possession of an amount of cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £270.

Jamie Paul Carrier, 35, of Holyrood Crescent, St Albans. On June 20, 2014, attempted to steal a leg of lamb and a bottle of Ariel Gel from the Co-op, Hemel Hempstead. Fine, costs: £178.

Thomas Riley, 21, of Brackendene, Bricket Wood. On December 9, 2013, was in possession of two wraps of cocaine, a class A drug. Also, on same date, was in possession of three small dealer bags of herbal cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £472.

Marco Nannini, 18, of Perham Way, London Colney. On February 15, 2014, assaulted a person by beating her. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Compensation, costs: £610.

Waheed Akhtar Zaman, 35, of Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans. On February 9, 2014, drove on the M1, at 97mph, the legal limit being 70mph. Fine, costs: £486. Four penalty points.

Enda Martin, 28, of Tippendell Lane, St Albans. On February 7, 2014, drove on the A414 North Orbital Road, Watford, without a valid licence. Also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £313. Six penalty points.

Mark John Pearson, 32, of Dellfield, St Albans. On February 6, 2014, used in St Peters Street, St Albans, a vehicle where the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and a three-year-old in the front passenger seat did not have a booster seat, thus making it a danger of injury to a person. Fine, costs: £525. Three penalty points.
