A woman has been taken to hospital after an accident on the M25.
Fire crews from Garston, St Albans and Kings Langley were called the accident on the slip road from the M25 clockwise to the M1 northbound at 9.09am.
A car had crashed into a lamppost at Junction 21.
The crews used cutting equipment to free the woman, who was taken to hospital by ambulance.
One lane is closed. Normal traffic conditions are expected from 11.30am.
