A 21-year-old man from St Albans has been arrested in connection with an alleged hit and run in Bovingdon.
Police are appealing for information after a green Seat Leon was reported to have been driven erratically around the market car park at around 1.10pm on Saturday, October 11.
A man in his late 20s suffered cuts and grazes after he was involved in a collision with a car, which then drove off.
A man has been arrested and has been released on bail until November 12.
Detective Constable Anthony Hooper, who is investigating, said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the car park at the time and saw what happened to contact me.
"I would also like to hear from anyone who believes they saw the vehicle being driven in the area that afternoon."
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Hooper via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference D1/14/6180.
