A knife-wielding robber has held up a London Colney betting shop for a large amount of cash during a night time raid.
Hertfordshire Constabulary was called at 5.45pm on Saturday to Ladbrokes in High Street.
The offender approached the counter and showed a member of staff a knife before demanding they hand over money.
The offender took a large amount of money before leaving the shop in the direction of Kings Road.
No-one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white man aged between 30 and 40 years old who was of a medium build and who had short brown hair.
He was wearing a blacked hooded puffer jacket with the hood up, a white t-shirt and blue trousers.
