As winter approaches the Citizens Advice Bereau were out in force in the city to help residents save money on their energy bills.
The St Albans Citizens Advive Bereau (CAB) were on hand to help consumers slash money off their bills.
As part of the Big Energy Saving Week, stalls were set up at the Civic Centre and the St Albans Library.
David Monk, Chief Executive of CAB said: "The CAB wants to help consumers check, switch and insulate to bring their energy costs down.
"We're keen to make sure that no-one pays a penny more than they need to on energy costs, so we're helping people to find practical ways of cutting their energy bills."
