A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital last night after an accident in St Albans.
Emergency services were called to the two car crash in Victoria Street, at the junction with Alma Road, at around 8pm.
A grey Toyota Estima Lucida and a blue Ford Focus were involved, and firefighters cut the woman out of her car and she was taken to Watford General Hospital.
A man was given first aid on the scene but was not taken to hospital.
Highways also attended the scene due to an oil spillage.
