A site worker has been taken to hospital after falling down a large hole.
Emergency services were called just before 9am to the building site in Hicks Road, Markyate.
The man had fallen down one metre into the footings of a 10m by 10m hole. Fire crews helped get him to safety and he was taken to Watford General Hospital with a shoulder injury.
