A fancy dress party for babies has raised more than £900 for a charity working with premature and sick babies.

Lorna Dickinson hosted the Halloween-themed party for Bliss, who helped her after her twins Eloise and Joshua Dickinson were born at just 32 weeks by emergency c- section.

Ms Dickinson said: "Personally this is a charity very close to my heart after the early arrival of Joshua and Eloise born at 32 weeks after severe illness on my part at just under 3lbs and just under 4lbs respectfully. They were very small but luckily not sick and spent a month in the special care baby unit.

"All the babies taking part in the fancy dress have done a fab job so far in raising vital sponsorship money for bliss."

One in every nine babies in the Uk is born either premature or sick. That's over 80,000 babies every year with one being admitted to special care every six minutes.
