Tree planting in Harpenden to celebrate 100 years of Brownies in the UK
A tree planting took place in Harpenden to commemorate 100 years of Brownies in the UK.
The town Mayor, Councillor Mary Maynard, joined the Harpenden North Brownies at the Hayfield on Harpenden Common last month.
The horse chestnut tree had been grown from a conker found on the Common by a Harpenden resident.
