Former Watford Boys Grammar School pupils return to open new estate agency office in Watford SEWELL & Gardner Estate Agents has just purchased a new office in central Watford which is due to open in January 2015.

After successfully building up their brand in Rickmansworth, Croxley Green and Chorleywood, Sewell & Gardner is ready to bring its distinctive levels of high quality and top customer service to the Watford market.

The two men at the helm are Alex Sewell and Joe Rylett, both of whom are ex-Watford Boys.

Alex, a pupil in the 1980s, lives in Watford with his wife (a teacher at Watford Girls Grammar) and three children, and Joe, a former pupil of Nascot Wood Junior School, before attending Watford Boys in the ‘90s, is a North Watford resident with his wife and daughter.

Alex and Joe’s friendship formed when they were both members of Fullerians Rugby Club and their camaraderie has developed into a trusting business relationship over the past eight years working together at Sewell & Gardner.

Their approach to Estate Agency is built on integrity and honesty and this has been instilled in all the staff under their stewardship.

Joe has been carefully progressing his career from sales negotiatior up to sales manager and he will leave the Rickmansworth office in good shape under the guiding hand of Kirsty Drabik, when he embarks on his new challenge as the manager of the Watford branch.

Joe says: “It is so exciting to have the opportunity to work in the town where I lived for most of my childhood, where I attended school and where I now live with my family.

“My approach is simple, I treat people as I would like to be treated myself, and that ethos will continue to be my team philosophy in 2014.”

The new Sewell & Gardner branch will be situated just on the edge of Intu shopping centre at the junction of Queens Road and when you drive around the ring road you will start to see the progress of the office refurbishment on your left, adjacent to the YWCA building.

Sewell & Gardner has been covering the Watford area for years from its Rickmansworth base, but feels that now is the time to establish a stronger presence and bring some fresh faces to the market with a fabulous new shop presence.

Both Alex and Joe have experienced buying homes in Watford over the past few years, so they know what is missing and how to fill the gap.

Alex says: “I cannot wait for the chance to show people how it can be done and why our Sewell & Gardner brand has just been awarded the estate agent with the UK’s Best Customer Service, the UK’s Best Social Media for our community strategy and the best Small Sales Agent in the area, by The Times & Sunday Times newspapers (Dec 2013).”

Sewell & Gardner recognises that the needs of the customer is its top priority and that great communication and complete transparency are key to outstanding customer relationships, so its market appraisals and review meetings have been tailored to highlight this.

With an unrivalled haul of 12 top industry awards in 2013, alongside its specialist lettings and property management departments, new homes and land services, the firm has an excellent reputation to bring to the marketplace.
