A 35-year-old has been sentenced to 26 weeks in prison after admitting to stealing in St Albans.
Daniel Taylor was arrested on Saturday, November 22, after he was seen by a member of the public in Hatfield Road, who then contacted the police.
Police had wanted to speak to Mr Taylor in connection with 14 thefts in St Albans, Potters Bar and Hitchin.
Taylor, who is of no fixed address, was charged with two thefts and pleaded guilty today at Hatfield Remand Court this morning.
