A guard dog called Bear has been stolen from Colney Street.
The German Shepherd was stolen at about 9.30pm on Sunday, November 30, from a business in Moor Mill Lane after a vehicle was used to remove part of the property’s perimeter fence where Bear was inside.
Police investigating the theft have released an image of him in an attempt to locate him.
Police Community Support Officer Kirsty Gilling is investigating the theft and said: "Bear may well be very distressed to be away from his owner and his home environment. We would like to locate Bear as quickly as possible and are urging anyone who sees him, is offered him for sale or has any other information in relation to the theft, to contact me straight away."
Anyone with any information in relation to this incident call the police on their non emergency line.
