Figures released show an increase in assaults against NHS staff in hospitals in west Hertfordshire.
A survey by NHS Protect revealed that West Herts Hospitals Trust, which oversees St Albans, Watford and Hemel Hempstead and Hospitals, has reported an increase in assaults from 118 in 2012/13 to 149 in 2013/14.
The figures show reports of verbal and physical abuse.
Health chief Samantha Jones will be hosting meeting where residents will be able to ask questions. It will be held from 6-7.30pm on Thursday at St Albans Hospital’s lecture hall.
